Ministry of Magic - Entrance

The Ministry of Magic

A few cross streets from the centre of London, where the houses become smaller and smaller and the office buildings shabbier and shabbier, one finds an old, red telephone box.

Not only the cracked panes, but also the crooked and unusable looking telephone set, make the cover of the Ministry of Magic’s entrance perfect. Because which muggle would suspect the probably most important place of the British magical world behind a damaged phone box?

Now, if one wants to enter the Ministry, he has to dial the number 62443 (in English: 62442). Afterwards, a woman’s voice resonates:

"Welcome to the Ministry of Magic. Please call you name and your matter."

After you communicated your name and your desire, the voice sounds again:

"Thank you very much!
Visitor, please take the badge and attach it to your clothes."

Out of the metal duct, where normally the remaining coins drop out of, now the badge falls out and the voice resonates:

"Visitor of the Ministry, you’re asked to undergo an examination and to present your wand at the safety counter, which is located at the end of the atrium, for registration."

After that sentence, one is let into the ground with the telephone box and when the door opens again, one is in the atrium.
