Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop
Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop is located in a little side street in the village of Hogsmeade. But the little locality isn’t hard to find. When you enter the homey Tea Shop you will be overwhelmed by innumerable frills, laces and bows that make the room appear much smaller than it actually is.
Lots of small round tables with comfortable chairs or armchairs give adequate space for the guests. On the tables you can find the compulsory sugar bowls and milk jugs.
On holidays the little Tea Shop is decorated according to the occasion. For example there are small golden angels flying over the tables, their pink confetti raining down on the guests on Valentine's Day. Because of the cosy ambience of the shop and the delicious cakes and pies you can spend a pleasurable time in Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop.
Of course the Tea Shop is run by Madam Puddifoot. She is a stocky witch who always wears her hair in a tight black bun, but nevertheless she is a good-hearted middle-aged woman who addresses all of her guests with “My love”. Especially this warmth of the owner makes the Tea Shop a magnet for many Hogwarts students and the inhabitants of Hogsmeade.
